Creating and Maintaining Hygienic Environments

Single Skin Cladding

Single Skin Cladding is, as the name suggests, a method of creating totally hygienic wall surfaces by the application of sheet materials, usually no more than 3 mm thick, direct to the existing wall surface.

If the existing surface is suitable, it is applied with panel adhesive but we can also fix with nylon drive rivets which can penetrate up to 150 mm into a wall in order to achieve a secure fix.

The main materials in use for hygienic single skin cladding are PVC and GRP, both of which comply with the most stringent requirements of both hygiene and fire ratings.

Our skilled installers will thermoform PVC around all corners , thus eliminating the need for corner profiles, leaving a smooth, hygienic finish with the minimum of seams.

Other materials in our range are stainless steel and in certain cases, aluminium.
